A single story is kinda like a opinion..
A single story I have heard about is how they talk about how all West Virginian's are all hillbilly's, which isn't true. West Virginians are not all hillbilly's. People need to come to visit a state or something before they judge. West Virginia is like a short story. I've learnt that story, from hearing people talk about it. You could go visit the community or research it to find out more about it. A game could let players experience many stories about a place, because it will help you know more about it.

Imagining Your Game.

     It's Friday, ya know what that means! BLOGGING! I am desiging my game for 8th grade students.  Our game will teach something about history, probably the Titanic, that is undecided. More than likely our game  will be 1912, when the Titanic sunk. I will design a game to teach about what happened back when the Titanic sunk. This setting will add to the learning experience, because it will teach people about an important event in history.  Our game world will help to teach about what really happend on that day in 1912.  The player will use what they learnt to make the game more eaiser for them.  A game is a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz, because it will make it more fun than just a quiz.

Playing to Learn

 From playing to learn, I learnt that our topic would for sure be history. We played a few games this year, and wrote reviews. My favorite was probably Action. A game feature that stood out to me was the movie clip,that we did yesterday. Which I already learnt it from last year, but it was fun to learn the 7th graders. 

A question that I would have, would probably be what how do you make something move from sisde to side. Hopefully, I will learn how to do that before the end of the year!

I hope that it will be easier to do our game this year,  because we learnt some of it last year.

Starting a New Year in Globaloria!

     Welp, its friday, which means blog time and one more thing...Oh Yeah the weekend!!!! haha!This new year in Globaloria has been pretty good, so far! My partner this year is Kaitlyn, and we are the Country Chicks! Also, us being eighth grader, we have helped out the new seventh graders with there wiki's and blogs! This year, our game is supposed to be based on History.   Hopefully it will be pretty easy this year, since we was in Globaloria last year! Also, we have two new kids this year in our Globaloria class, and I think that they will do great!! And hopefully the seventh graders do good on there's also! I'm hoping that this year will be just as great as last year, and everyone has a good year in Globaloria!

Final Blog!......

This is my final Blog!!!! I am so excited for the Summer Break!! I look forward to taking Globaloria next  year.  I just smitted my final game a few days ago! I really enjoyed taking Globaloria this year, but I'm happy that it's time to have a break from school!  I look forward to having Summer Break, and spending time with my family and friends!  I am excited to see what the topic for our game will be next year!  I'm gonna miss my friends over the summer (the ones I won't see)... ):  I think that's all!

WESTEST.......

I think that some of the WESTEST was pretty hard, but kinda easy.  Math & Science, were pretty easy, but English and Social Studies, were hard.  I think the easiest was Math & the hardest was Social Studies. I really hope that I did good on the WESTEST, but I don't know what I will get. I think that I will do better on Math this time maybe.  Probably worse on Social Studies.  Also, I'm looking forward til' the end of the year! :D

Internet Safety.....

     I think internet safety in Globaloria, is very important.  You shouldn't put your last name, so that people can't get personal information about you.  If you disobey the rules of internet safety, then you have a higher chance of getting cyber bullied.  Only put things that you know won't reveal to much about you.  This matter should be enforced alot, not only in school, but also at home.
